The virtuous cycle of Esobit Flowlab
We design customer journeys to automate marketing activities and support new lead generation, integrating them with corporate CRM systems. We manage events, webinars, and marketing campaigns to ensure consistency, traceability, and continuity in the customer relationship.
Marketing Activities
The direct connection to the LIMS enables the enhancement of laboratory data through customized dashboards, featuring clear and intuitive visualizations (bar charts, pie charts, and trend analyses) to support decision-making.
Data and Business Analysis
The integration of the LIMS with major accounting systems enables the automation of invoicing for completed samples, ensuring the monitoring of administrative data completeness through alert systems and the synchronization of customer and supplier records across different company software.
Administration and Accounting
Warehouse and inventory management can also be handled on the go through dedicated apps for recording stock movements, with automatic notifications for low-stock items and applications integrated with the LIMS for equipment monitoring and maintenance tracking.
Inventory & Instrument Management
Custom mobile apps integrated with the LIMS enable sample management on the go via barcode, the sending of notifications for relevant or out-of-limit events, the use of shared calendars to monitor sampling activities, and integration with web portals for more effective communication with clients.
Planning and Production (LIMS)
Monitoring sales opportunities through Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM enables mobile management of customer requests and provides automatic alerts to stay up to date on quotation deadlines.
Sales Activities and Opportunities
Flowlab combines the expertise of Esobit’s software development team with consultants who have an analytical background and many years of experience in Accredia-accredited laboratories, in order to deliver effective and efficient solutions designed together with the client.
Our team supports analytical laboratories in:
1
Specialized process consulting
We support laboratories in defining clear, simple, and efficient information processes that are fully integrated into daily operations, drawing on IT and management expertise gained also in Accredia-accredited environments.2
LIMS development and enhancement
We work alongside laboratories in developing LIMS functionalities and creating customized reporting solutions, supported by deep knowledge of the main systems available on the market.3

1. Esobit SmartChart
Based on Shewhart rules, Esobit has developed a proactive and intelligent algorithm, integrated into the LIMS, that monitors control charts 24/7. The system continuously analyzes trends and alerts the technical operator in the event of limit exceedances or potential exceedances, enabling preventive action to reduce the risk of non-conformities.
2. Esobit DataLink
It is the system developed by Esobit to automate the transfer of analytical results from instruments into the LIMS. DataLink is able to transform files generated by laboratory instruments (CSV, TXT, XLS, etc.) into structured formats that can be interpreted and imported into the LIMS (compatible with any LIMS on the market), thereby reducing processing time and human error.

3. Esobit Handler
The application, integrated with the LIMS, allows technicians to perform stock intake, movement, and inventory operations directly from their smartphones. It reads barcodes and QR codes, saving time and increasing laboratory efficiency.

4. Esobit Alert
Particularly used in treatment plants and by water utilities, the application enables real-time alerts to designated managers whenever critical parameters exceed defined limits, allowing for prompt action.
5. Esobit SampleCheck
An app for sample disposal management, integrated with the LIMS, provides information on the sample status and its critical properties, such as pH and EER code, to guide technicians in the proper disposal of sample residues, in compliance with quality system guidelines and regulations.

Q&A Esobit FlowLab
Frequently asked questions about Esobit FlowLab solutions for digitizing, integrating and optimizing laboratory analysis processes.
Is Esobit FlowLab a LIMS?
Esobit FlowLab is not a single LIMS, but a team made up of specialized software developers and analytical technicians with decades of experience in accredited testing laboratories. The team’s goal is to support, advise and improve the automation and digitization of laboratory processes through consulting and the development of efficient software solutions, designed by specialists with direct laboratory experience.
Can the FlowLab team also support the LIMS already used in our laboratory?
Yes. Our team can support laboratories using the most common LIMS platforms in the Italian and European markets, both through development activities and consulting on information processes. By development, we mean creating new features, improving operational efficiency and building customized reporting tools.
Beyond the LIMS, can you give examples of what FlowLab works on?
The team works on integrations between the LIMS and other systems or applications, such as administrative management software, CRM systems or laboratory-specific platforms. One particularly important area is data analysis: LIMS platforms generate a large amount of information that often remains unused. With the support of our technicians, we can create analytical dashboards to make the most of the data already available in the LIMS and provide managers with more effective decision-making tools.
Which laboratory processes can the FlowLab team digitize?
The team can support laboratories in digitizing processes across the entire workflow: importing instrumental data into the LIMS, creating dashboards, setting up automatic alerts, managing inventory, using Shewhart control charts, building reports and developing custom applications for specific laboratory needs. All of this is done with the critical and experienced perspective of our analytical chemists, who know the practical details of laboratory work first-hand.
Does the FlowLab team work with both large laboratories and smaller growing labs?
Yes. Our team is organized to support laboratories of all sizes: from smaller labs that need process consulting to more structured laboratories that want to reduce management times and increase their level of automation.
Do I have to replace my management software or my LIMS?
No. Our team can support the laboratory in improving its processes regardless of the LIMS already in use. The goal is not always to replace existing systems, but to better connect data, instruments and operating procedures.
Have you developed ready-to-use solutions that can be introduced immediately into my laboratory?
Yes. We have developed several solutions designed for testing laboratories, including Esobit DataLink for the automatic import of instrumental results into the LIMS, Esobit SmartChart to automatically monitor the evolution of quality control results through control charts, Esobit Handler for QR code-based inventory management, and Esobit SampleCheck for integrated sample disposal management.
Is it possible to request a consultation?
Yes. You can request a demo of our solutions or a consultation with the Esobit team to analyze your laboratory processes and understand which activities can be automated, integrated or improved with our solutions.
